Novi, Michigan, August 24, 2023 – EOS North America’s Additive Minds applied engineering team and 3YOURMIND have partnered to accelerate additive manufacturing (AM) adoption through their Rapid Part Identifier program. Now, organizations can benefit from rapid part screening of 2D and 3D files, augmented by AM engineering expertise to create a holistic industrial 3D printing strategy. This new partnership agreement helps quickly scale part identification for AM, supported by the strategy and engineering required to achieve successful production.

Historically, AM part screening involved combing through customer part libraries – a time-consuming process that required analysis of individual applications to identify which parts or assemblies were viable candidates for 3D printing. Additive Minds pioneered an AM part screening methodology and collaborative processes needed to scale production. 3YOURMIND software further accelerate this process, and the two organizations worked to jointly develop the Rapid Part Identifier software solution by:

✔ Leveraging EOS data to improve the 3YOURMIND algorithm and more accurately predict costs and application printability
✔ Increasing the speed of part screening for customers with large, traditionally manufactured application inventory
✔ Providing end users with comparative digital inventory of uploaded and evaluated parts to make data-driven decisions based on results

3YOURMIND’s solutions also include part qualification, order management, and production scheduling features. In the end, customers can explore practical AM applications, make quicker decisions, and gain a higher level of success for their AM program by quickly scanning existing parts in their inventories, and determining a better-defined AM business case.
